The Consciousness Of The Crow
About
The Consciousness of the Crow is the prequel to A Crow's Monologue. The story follows Bryon Fulton, a gifted young man born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, whose extraordinary intelligence and spiritual awareness set him apart from those around him.
From an early age, Bryon is taught life's most important values by his father, Professor Albert DeLeon of Ohio State University. When Albert is suddenly taken from Bryon and his younger brother, Josiah, by the Angel of Death, Bryon is forced to become the man of the house, dedicating himself to protecting his family and ensuring that his mother and brother are never alone.
Bryon's journey eventually leads him to Princeton University, where he rises to prominence as a respected philosophy professor, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. Through his groundbreaking philosophy of A Crow's Manifest, he introduces the world to his beliefs about the connection between crows, the afterlife, and human consciousness. Gifted with supernatural abilities and powerful premonitions, Bryon devotes his life to helping others while carrying the heavy burden of understanding the future.
The Consciousness of the Crow is ultimately a story of perseverance, sacrifice, faith, and purpose. It portrays an African American man striving for greatness, overcoming adversity, and refusing to surrender his dreams despite the obstacles placed before him. Bryon's legacy reminds readers that true success is measured not only by achievement, but by the lives we touch and the hope we leave behind.
